On/off-ramp for CBI & RBI programs.
Stage: Rail architecture · Messaging: ISO 20022-compatible
What this vertical does
Every CBI/RBI program wants something different on the receiving end: a non‑refundable donation to a national development fund, a government bond subscription, a real‑estate escrow, or a direct development‑fund contribution. ImmiCrypt's Settlement vertical is the compliant on/off‑ramp that converts a cleared, escrowed balance — BTC, ETH, major stablecoins, or a pilot CBDC — into exactly the currency and instrument the specific program requires, with a full audit trail on both the on‑chain and bank‑side legs of the transaction.
Why ISO 20022 messaging
Correspondent banks, national treasuries, and government bond issuers already speak ISO 20022 — the structured financial‑messaging standard now underpinning most modernized payment systems globally. Building settlement messaging to that standard from day one, rather than a bespoke format, means a government fund or bond issuer on the receiving end sees a message format their own systems already understand, not a crypto‑native format they'd need new infrastructure to parse.
How routing decisions get made
Which instrument a given program needs is decided in Advisory and confirmed once Custody's milestone gates clear — Settlement doesn't make that decision itself, it executes it. El Salvador's Freedom Passport, for instance, accepts BTC/USDt natively via the government's own payment gateway (see our El Salvador program page), which is a fundamentally different settlement path than Portugal's Golden Visa, which currently only accepts crypto indirectly through regulated investment funds (see Portugal). The rail is built to route to whichever path a given program actually uses today, not one assumed path for all of them.
Currency-agnostic by design
The rail isn't betting on one blockchain or one stablecoin issuer. As central bank digital currencies mature — the UAE's Digital Dirham, India's e₹, the digital euro — Settlement is designed to add each as a supported input without re-architecting the rail, watching corridors like mBridge that central banks are already building rather than attempting to build a parallel one.
Status today
This vertical is at the rail architecture stage — the routing logic and messaging format are being designed against real program requirements, not yet live for any transaction. See our Terms & Disclaimer for the current status, and request access if you're a program, bank, or fund interested in an early integration conversation.
