First-mover rail for sovereign digital currency.
Stage: Thesis · early conversations · Watching: UAE Digital Dirham, India e₹, digital euro
What this vertical does
Every central bank on earth is deciding what its money looks like next — and a handful are already moving from pilot to production. ImmiCrypt's Government vertical is the engagement model for Citizenship & Residency Investment Units and the central banks behind these pilots, aimed at making a sovereign digital currency a recognized settlement instrument for investment migration specifically — not just retail payments, which is where nearly every CBDC pilot's attention is currently focused.
Why this is a first-mover position, not a claim of partnership
To be direct: ImmiCrypt does not currently have a signed government partnership or exclusive integration with any central bank or CIU. This vertical describes a thesis and an engagement model — reference architecture for how a CBDC could be accepted for investment migration, built ahead of formal partnerships, so that when a CIU or central bank is ready to explore this, the technical and compliance groundwork already exists instead of starting from zero. See our Terms & Disclaimer §2 for the precise language on what is, and isn't, live today.
The two home markets, and why they matter together
India's e₹ retail pilot has crossed six million users across seventeen banks and moved into welfare disbursement and cross-border trials with Singapore and the UAE. The UAE's Digital Dirham completed its first live blockchain settlement in November 2025, is now legal tender under UAE law, and runs on mBridge, the multi‑CBDC platform it shares with China, Hong Kong, and Thailand. Neither market has to invent a cross‑border settlement corridor from scratch — the RBI already has an active digital‑assets pact with Singapore and discussions underway with the UAE. Two of ImmiCrypt's home markets are already talking to each other about this; being headquartered in both (see About) is a deliberate position to watch that corridor form, not a coincidence of where the company happens to be based.
What "currency-agnostic" means in practice
This vertical is explicitly not betting on one CBDC winning. The engineering plan is to design Settlement's rail to accept whichever sovereign digital currency a given corridor actually uses — e₹, Digital Dirham, digital euro, or whatever follows — rather than building around one currency and hoping others adopt compatible standards later.
Status today
This vertical is at the thesis, early-conversations stage — the earliest of all five. There are no signed CIU or central-bank partnerships to announce. If you represent a government body, CIU, or central bank exploring this space, request access and say so in your message — this is exactly the stage where that conversation is most useful to have.
