Grenada — CBI.
The only Caribbean CBI passport with a path to the US E-2 Investor Visa.
At a glance
What makes Grenada distinct
Grenada is the only Caribbean citizenship-by-investment jurisdiction whose passport unlocks the US E-2 Investor Visa, via a bilateral treaty the US does not hold with any other CBI country in the region. It's a real benefit, but not an automatic one: a citizen who acquired Grenadian nationality through investment (and held no prior E status) generally needs three continuous years of domicile in Grenada before filing for an E-2 visa, and E-2 approval itself still requires a qualifying investment, active business management, and good character — Grenadian citizenship opens the door, it doesn't walk an applicant through it.
How crypto moves today
Crypto-funded applications are accepted in select cases through licensed agents, who convert the holding to fiat before it reaches the National Transformation Fund or approved real estate — consistent with the agent-conversion pattern across the Eastern Caribbean's five programs in our directory.
Regional context
Grenada sits inside the same ECCIRA regional harmonization described on our St Kitts & Nevis page, alongside Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, and Saint Lucia — expect due-diligence standards, including Grenada's existing mandatory interview requirement, to keep converging with the rest of the region.
What ImmiCrypt's rail would add
For an applicant specifically pursuing the E-2 pathway, a clean, standardized source-of-funds record from day one matters twice — once for Grenada's own CIU, and again three years later when a US E-2 filing scrutinizes the same funding history. See Advisory for how we sequence a Grenada-then-E-2 strategy.
